FAQ’s

Q: Will Sonar-Jet damage my well?

A: No. There have been isolated problems in the past due to particular well construction: horizontal louver full flow perforations and jointed dissimilar metals. These problems have been resolved with the use of shields, increased Down Hole Video resolution, and a Submergence Chart telling the operator what strength line to use at what depth for maximum safety and results. Sonar-Jet is more consistent and reliable than ever.

QCan Sonar-Jet be used with other water well rehabilitation methods?

A: Yes! Sonar-Jet is often used as a strategic asset in a rehabilitation package. For example, Sonar-Jet can be used while chemicals are in place, pulsating them deep into the formation or swabbing afterward to help re-consolidate gravel packs.

QWhy is Sonar-Jet less expensive than other processes?

A: Labor is very expensive and other methods can require a crew of three or more, along with costly equipment that can start prices in the tens of thousands. Sonar-Jet is less expensive because only one operator is needed and it takes only a couple of hours to complete.
